Hello again!  Lovely to see you back at our blog. The weather has taken a less than desirable turn. We thought we’d brighten your day by introducing you to the wonderful and luxurious world of TEMPLESPA.

Founded 22 years ago by husband and wife team Mark and Liz Warom. TEMPLESPA is the epitome of home-grown British luxury. 95% of the products are made here in the UK. Their aim is “to create exceptional skincare products and experiences that make a real difference to your skin and soul health.”

The begining

The TEMPLESPA journey into the world of skin care began in the Mediterranean. When I think of the ‘Mediterranean Lifestyle’ I think of food, sunshine and beaches, which in the UK isn’t an obvious trio. It’s also about a way of living, a work/life balance, connecting with nature and spending time with people to make memories. Taking all that into account Mark and Liz searched for influences within the abundance of available botanicals. They combined these with science and with the support of specialised professionals such as artisan herbalists, expert botanists and doctors of derma-science from Switzerland, Italy and the UK they created beautiful and skin safe products.  Jo Fairly an independent beauty writer said, “just think of them as the cashmere and silk of natural skincare brands.”

In a world where more and more people are choosing to become vegetarian or vegan for the health benefits or for ethical reasons TEMPLESPA has considered this as well. All products are suitable for vegetarians and the vegan friendly products are clearly labelled with the vegan symbol.

Another amazing thing about TEMPLESPA is their commitment to giving back to the community. They have donated over £1 million to some amazing charitable causes such as MIND, the mental health charity, and Safehaven, a Brighton based charity who support the homeless.
